CLTS TRAINING SAKASSOU

As part of the implementation of its program Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) for vulnerable populations, Habitat For Humanity (HFHCI) carried out a hygiene and sanitation project in the departments of Sakassou and Dabakala. The approach to implement to programme is done through a Led Total Sanitation By Community (CLTS).

VOLUNTEER DAY

The senior Attorney of the law firm Lex-Ways, Mr. Ibrahima BAH, officially laid the foundation stone of the housing construction for vulnerable groups in the village of EssEssé-Kouadiokro, sub-prefecture of Nofou on this 21st July 2018, in the department of Dimbokro. This initiative was part of a volunteer day organized by the Non-Profit Organization Habitat for Humanity Côte d'Ivoire (HFHCI) in partnership with the employees of Lex-Ways, who came along as volunteers to participate in the construction work.

HEALTH AND SANITATION PROJECT

Located in the Sub-prefecture of Kpouèbo, in the department of Toumodi, the village of Dida-Yaokro recently hosted a volunteer day organized by the International American NGO Habitat for Humanity Cote D'ivoire (HFHCI) and the International Lions Clubs Foundation. This social action is part of the launch of a construction and a rehabilitation project of community infrastructures in the North and Center part of the country. The ceremony began with a guard of honor and cheering schoolchildren from the village who came to welcome donors for this important project.

HEALTH AND DEVELOPMENT

The Mayor of Toumodi hosted an award ceremony of maintenance equipment to villages that have observed good hygiene and sanitation practices. Indeed, the Ministry of Construction, Housing, Sanitation and Urban Development, through the Department of Sanitation in Rural areas (DSR) and the international NGO Habitat for Humanity Cote D’ivoire (HFHCI) celebrated 33 villages in the regions of "the Bélier" and "Hambol", that put an end to the open defecation behavior regarding the sanitation project led by the Community (CLTS) for the benefit of rural communities.

TABAGNE / DEDICATION OF SOCIAL HOUSING

The Sub-prefecture of Tabagne in the department of Bondoukou has just enjoyed from a housing project for low-income families. This project is the result of a partnership between Habitat for Humanity Cote dIvoire (HFHCI) and KATAHUA (Village Association of Tabagne). The families enjoying from this project received the keys of their new houses during a dedication ceremony organized in the Sub-prefecture. The houses were built thanks to the co-financing of HFHCI and the mutual of the executive of the region

The Niédiékaha Sub-Prefecture in Niakara Department is hosting the 7th edition of the World Habitat Day 2015 on the topic of "public spaces for all".
